The Peachtree Corners City Council is moving ahead with plans for improving the Holcomb Bridge Road Corridor by formally accepting the completed study Dec. 15 and incorporating it into the city’s 2033 Comprehensive Plan.

The study, completed by Lord Aeck Sargent with Bleakly Advisory Group and Santec Consulting reflects the input of city leaders, residents and business owners. The study outlines five key planning strategies including diversifying the housing core, improving the Holcomb Bridge experience, renovating and reimagining Peachtree Corners Circle, connecting Crooked Creek and creating “remarkable spaces.”

Short-term projects will look at using the 1.2-mile Crooked Creek trail segment to connect Peachtree Corners Circle with Sandy Springs and Spalding Drive.

Other potential projects will be a multi-use path and other pedestrian improvements.
