Peachtree City is planning more improvements to the Ga. Hwy. 54 West corridor to mitigate traffic congestion. At a special workshop with the city council Tuesday night, Interim City Manager Jon Rorie outlined a variety of short- and long-term modifications based on a recent traffic study. He identified five possible projects that would cost approximately $2.7 million and be done between 2015 and 2020. Approval for engineering plans and/or a modified list of projects could come as early as Thursday’s 7 p.m. city council meeting at City Hall.
