The Gwinnett County Public Library Bicentennial Series celebrating the 200th birthday of Gwinnett County moves to Norcross where city officials will host featured authors who just happen to also be local residents.

Historians Edith Holbrook Riehm and Gene Ramsay and Welcome Center Coordinator Cate Kitchen, co-authors of “Images of America: Norcross,” will sit on a panel discussion of their book at 3 p.m. March 11 at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center, 10 College Street.

The panel is part of a larger Bicentennial Series Program provided by the GCPL Adult Programming Department in conjunction with the GCPL Norcross Branch. “Images of America: Norcross,” which tells the rich 140-year history of Norcross through stories and photographs, will be on sale before and after the discussion for $20 ($15 with a student ID) and attendees will get the chance to have their copies autographed. This event is free and open to the public.
