Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) recently awarded the Partner of the Year Award to Norcross in recognition of the city’s “high level of promotion of entrepreneurship, provision of resources, and community development.”

The non-profit organization provides loans and business development resources to help its borrowers create and grow sustainable businesses that generate jobs. ACE serves 68 counties, including all of Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. Since 2015, the city has welcomed the ACE Women’s Business Center (WBC) in the Norcross Cultural and Community Arts Center. Since moving to Norcross, the center has been able to serve over 5,000 individuals through training and one-on-one consultations.

The Norcross Economic Development Department and ACE staff continue to provide support and assistance to entrepreneurs in and around the city. The department provides referrals, promotes WBC services, creates connections with entrepreneurs and other business establishments in the area.
