Norcross party to promote sustainability

Norcross, Sustainable Norcross and The Deconstructed House will host a party June 4 to promote the support of sustainable practices.

"The Pre-Demolition, Salvage Pickin’ and Porch Party" is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 155 North Cemetery Street.

The event will feature a musical performance, artwork featuring rescued building materials, an opportunity to purchase architectural salvage, fixtures, heart pine flooring and more from 1900-1930 period houses scheduled for demolition, among other things.
