Norcross City Council approved a special use permit for the operation of a church in the Viridian Office Park at 6855 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Suite 2150. The special use permit will be active only for the term of the two-year lease for the operation of Iglesias Pentecostal Roca Solida church by the Rev. Carlos Hernan Mina Salas.
Once the initial lease term is completed a new permit will be required.
All proposed changes to the interior of the office space will be properly permitted through the city. Service hours of the church will be restricted to those requested by Salas including 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sundays, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and 5 to 8 p.m. for one week of Vacation Bible School during the summer.
Any change in hours must be approved in writing by the property owner and the Department of Community Development.
