Snellville City Hall will be the site of a the next in a series of meetings to discuss the county’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan 6 to 8 p.m. March 29 in the Community Room, 2342 Oak Road.
To best prepare for the future of the county’s roads, it is important to look at the changes that have occurred in Gwinnett County’s population, employment, land use and development since the adoption of the previous plan. Knowing what has happened or is happening can help the planning team guide the county to where it wants to be in the future, which will influence the overall development of the CTP, officials said. Ideally, a CTP is updated every five to seven years.
