A nonprofit organization that serves senior citizens in DeKalb County has a new but familiar face leading its board of directors.

David Gaynes recently took over as chair from Kim Cooks, who is being transferred to England with her job.

Gaynes had been serving as vice president of the board. Board member Walt Bryde will assume that role.

Senior Connections is the largest home and community-based provider in DeKalb and surrounding counties, preparing and delivering more than 2,500 meals daily and more than 40,000 hours of in-home care annually.
