The Duluth city council took a few moments Jan. 11 to cleanup wording related to city ordinances. The council agreed to delete a long forgotten code related to dove shoots. Dove hunting is prohibited in the city and there have been no requests for dove shoots in the past 15 years or more.

In other cleanup matters, the city council revised an ordinance related to the Finane Committee, by removing the title “budget and accounting supervisor” and replacing it with the corrected title “finance manager.”
