Five Atlanta business executives working with the city of Milton have partnered to launch “The Engine,” an incubator for technology entrepreneurs, city officials announced.
The Engine targets B2B SaaS (Business-to-Business, Software as a Service) start-ups, connecting them with mentors and access to capital, the city says. An SaaS company provides software and tech support to business clients over the internet.
Founding members of Milton’s incubator are David Lightburn, president and co-founder of Atlanta Tech Village and founder of Village Realty; Jake Sherill, founder and chairman of Tier4Advisors; E.W. Looney, CEO of BrightLink Technology; David Hartin, co-founder, president and CEO of Notora LLC; and Mark Baule, principal of Selling Insights and founder of Cause Local LLC.
“Each of the founding members brings to the table a unique skill set with incredible experience, knowledge and, most importantly, the passion necessary to nurture and grow entrepreneurs,” said Milton Economic Development Manager Sarah LaDart.
The Engine has secured more than 4,800 square feet in the Deerfield Corporate Center, 13010 Morris Road, in partnership with Banyan Street Capital, the property's owner. For more information, email: TheEngineMilton@gmail.com
