Cobb County is getting a reprieve from the heat, but no, it didn't snow on Marietta High School overnight.

The canopy of white you saw this morning — the start of classes in the city — was a continuation of the Marietta High School senior prank of covering the school in toilet paper.

An administration change endangered the tradition a couple years ago, but it seems another administration change has the paper back.

Students are encouraged to have the mess cleaned up by noon.

It appears the Marietta High School senior prank has continued into 2017.
