Three Cobb County projects will be reviewed at one Public Information Open House in March.

The meeting will be 5 to 7 p.m. March 7 at the Mountain View Community Center, 3400 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta.

No formal presentation will be made.

The projects that will be on display are:

  • Sandy Plains Road at Davis Road to improve that intersection due to the relocation of Mountain View Elementary School. Improvements will include a traffic signal rebuild, new school zone flashing beacons and median improvements at the new bus driveway on Sandy Plains Road north of Davis Road.
  • Old Canton Road at Holly Springs Road to improve this intersection with pedestrian crossings and better vehicular movements.
  • Post Oak Tritt Road at Hembree Road for intersection improvements with reconfiguration of turn/travel lanes and a traffic signal or roundabout.

Cobb Department of Transportation engineers and personnel will attend to answer questions.
