Single lane closures will continue nightly this week along I-85 in Gwinnett and Barrow counties as construction continues for the I-85 Widening project.
Drivers on I-85 northbound will see single lane closures between Hamilton Mill Road and Spout Springs Road in Gwinnett. Motorists traveling southbound will experience a single lane closure between State Route 211 in Barrow and Hamilton Mill Road in Gwinnett for work at the Spout Springs Road overpass.
Lane closures will occur 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, and 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Traffic pacing will be in place during lane closures. Drivers will experience intermittent traffic stops while contractors relocate equipment and other activities.
