You never want to end up in a situation where a landlord is trying to wrongfully kick you out of your home.

But if you do, it’s important to know your rights.

Cobb County is hosting three eviction workshops in December at Switzer Library, 266 Roswell St. in Marietta.

Attendees will learn about applicable Georgia law, court procedures and other tips.

Legal Aid of Cobb County will give a presentation and will stick around after to answer questions from those who meet income guidelines, according to the county.

The two-hour workshops will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 6, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Dec. 13 and 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 20.
