The Kennesaw Parks and Recreation Department and the Kennesaw City Council will host the Kennesaw Park Facilities Master Plan update meeting from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 29 at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive NW, Kennesaw.
This public meeting will be the first of a series on this topic over the next few months to be hosted by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, according to Kennesaw Community and Engagement Manager Becca Graham in a city statement.
Graham said city officials also will use other means of gathering community input.
Parks and Recreation will gather all of that information, resulting in a final plan to be presented this fall, she added.
Graham said, “This critical analysis will serve as a road map for future capital improvements but, more importantly, serve as a tool for improving the quality of life for Kennesaw’s residents and business community.”
