Blues musician and recording artist Roger “Hurricane” Wilson will conduct a workshop on the blues from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Ben Robertson Community Center in Kennesaw.

He will cover the origin of blues to its current popularity. Participants will learn about the history of the this music while hearing examples sung and played on guitar. All ages and musical abilities are welcome.

The class costs $30 per student. Students may bring a guitar if desired and a pencil and notepad. Information, www.kennesaw-ga.gov.
