The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board voted at its Nov. 21 regular meeting to recommend approval of a change in the Future Land Use Designation for a 22.3-acre site at 109 Old Kelleytown Road, but tabled a request to rezone the property from RA (residential-agricultural) to MU (mixed use).

The request is for a development consisting of a grocery-anchored shopping center, ancillary shops and outparcels, according to a county staff report. The proposed FLUM change, which requires final approval from the Henry County Board of Commissioners, is from rural residential to mixed use.
