Jonesboro’s Downtown Development Authority recently approved a motion to enter into a cost sharing agreement with the city to fund 50 percent, or $2,500, for the preparation of design guidelines from TSW, a company of planners, architects and landscape architects. TSW was involved in the Blueprint Jonesboro master plan, with a focus on bringing new restaurants and businesses, and making downtown more walkable, among other features.

The Downtown Development Authority also approved ordering four large urban vase planters and 12 standard urban vase planters for the downtown district.
