Johns Creek schedules hazardous waste collection

Johns Creek residents can get rid of toxic products around the home Saturday at a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Medlock Bridge Shopping Center, 6000 Medlock Bridge Road.

Materials accepted include: paints; solvents and cleaners; aerosols; pesticides; motor oil and anti-freeze; mercury; batteries;  and electronics. The program cannot accept medical waste, ammunition, pharmaceuticals or trash.
