Citing the continuing COVID-19 crisis, Holly Springs announced that all city-owned playgrounds and pavilions will be closed beginning Wednesday and will remain closed until further notice.

The closure includes playground equipment at Barrett Park, Barrett Springs, and J.B. Owens Park.

Holly Springs previously announced the cancellations of a number of city meetings including the March 16 City Council meeting; the rescheduling of Municipal Court hearings from March 17 and 31 and April 7 to April 28, May 26 and June 2, respectively; and the cancellation of the April 4 Community Easter Egg Hunt.
