Hill Street from West Lawrenceville Street to Ridgeway Road in Duluth will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 3 until Friday, Sept. 6 for new stormwater lines to be installed.

The city will have detour signs in place. Dates may change depending on weather conditions.

Duluth’s Stormwater Department is promoting two free Gwinnett workshops in September. The public can attend a ‘Water Quality: Septic Tank Maintenance’ workshop 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.10 at Gwinnett County Justice Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville or a ‘Water Quality: Backyard Stream Restoration’ workshop 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at Ronald Reagan Park, 2777 Five Forks Trickum Road in Lawrenceville.
