Gwinnett Commissioners agreed Sept. 15 to renew Medical Advantage and Part D prescription drug plans with Humana Insurance Company and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia. The $3,407,424 contract represents a cost savings of about $50,000 over the current contract.

The contract provides Gwinnett Medicare-eligible retirees the option of a Medicare Advantage HMO, including prescription drug benefit, plan or a fully insured MA-PD option.
