A Gwinnett County restaurant has failed a health inspection for the third time since opening this year.
This time with their lowest score, a 40.
Channel 2's Carol Sbarge went to Gogi House on Gwinnett Place Drive earlier this month when the health inspection was a 60.
At the time the managers of the Korean barbecue restaurant said they were fixing the problems. But in the latest inspection the Gwinnett health inspector found multiple violations including an employee not properly washing hands, raw animal foods not separated from each other in storage, preparation, holding and display, cold food not held cold enough and a repeat violation of not posting their current score.
Since they got two unsatisfactory scores back to back, Gogi House’s permit was suspended.
We went back to Gogi House to see if this time the managers would do an on camera interview.
They declined but said they did meet with the Gwinnett County Health Department this week.
A manager says they are working with the health department to correct the problems and follow proper procedures.
The restaurant did get the permit re-instated.
Gogi House will be re-inspected again within the week. We’ll be sure to report on the new score.
