The Grayson City Council will review proposed changes to the city’s catering guidelines related to the alcohol ordinance as well as changes to the code enforcement board’s authorities at the council’s next meeting March 16.

Changes to the alcohol ordinance will add guidelines for obtaining licenses to provide for selling or dispensing alcoholic beverages at catered functions.

Amendments to the city’s code of ordinances will define the powers and duties of the city’s code enforcement board. The revisions also outline actions available to the code enforcement officer in the event of violations, amount of potential fines and provide provisions for waiving fines if violations are brought into compliance.
