Following a recent public hearing, the Grayson City Council voted unanimously in favor of a zoning change to allow for the construction of a Dairy Queen on Loganville Highway.

The 4.45-acre property, which had been zoned for single-family residential homes, will be rezoned for commercial business. The property falls within the Grayson Highway 20 Corridor and the Grayson Overlay District.

Conditions that must be met for approval include specific landscaping guidelines, improvement of the driveway plan to meet current city standards and to help traffic flow around the business for the community.
