Fulton County’s Environmental Health Division will raise its permit fees charged to restaurants, businesses and property owners by 10 percent, starting April 1. The County Commission approved the hike, which is expected to bring in $250,000 in annual revenue to make up for increased costs of health services.

The fees affect more than 4,700 restaurants, 1,700 swimming pools and 220 tourist facilities in Fulton. It’s the county’s first increase since 2009.
