Fulton County prosecutors dropped a drug case against Jonathan English, 28, Monday. English was scheduled for trial on the fast-track "Rocket Docket" but instead of picking a jury, the prosecutor moved it from the active trial calendar to the dead docket, said Renee Rockwell, the defense lawyer. The docket is so named because its cases are dead unless somehow revived,

English's case was featured in Monday's AJC as an example of hundreds dismissed annually because of lack of evidence. Police had arrested English because he was leaving  a house where drugs were found, Rockwell said. No drugs were found on him.
