Update:
No one was injured in what Karl Von Hagel, airport manager, called a “non-event” Thursday.
He confirmed what the Federal Aviation Administration had said about a plane’s front wheel falling off as it was landing at McCollum Field.
Von Hagel said the plane was towed away for repairs.

Bergen didn’t know whether there were injuries, saying that information would have to come from officials at the airport, none of whom were immediately available Thursday evening.
According to FAA records, the plane is registered to Hansen Air Group, an aircraft rental and training service based at McCollum. Calls to the company were not immediately returned.
