The Cumming-based Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit seeks items for a time capsule to be placed in the cornerstone of the new Forsyth County Courthouse to be completed the first part of this year.
Among what’s being sought: letters from Forsyth County residents at the time the current courthouse was dedicated in 1976, accounts of trials/jury service in the 1905 courthouse, printed photographs of present-day Forsyth County, local sports programs and items from service groups.
Those wanting to submit items for possible inclusion can bring them 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays to the Forsyth County Court Administration Office, 100 Courthouse Square, Cumming. (behind the present courthouse)
