Forsyth County residents will have an opportunity to comment on plans for Phase IV of the Sawnee Mountain Preserve, including a proposed viewing area at a second location on top of the Sawnee Mountain ridge.

Forsyth Parks & Recreation has scheduled the public meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center, 4075 Spot Road.

"We would like to invite residents to attend the community meeting to provide feedback for this popular and treasured park," said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. The meeting format is drop-in, and staff and consultants will be on hand to answer questions. Information: https://bit.ly/33d395P
