Another film company has been granted permission to use property owned by the Henry County School System for a new project.

The Board of Education voted at its Aug. 12 regular meeting to approve a request from Two Dollar Bill Pictures Inc., for use of a football practice field as part of a feature film. The company will use either Henry County Middle or Patrick Henry Middle facilities between Aug. 25 and Sept. 14, according to a staff report, and has already paid a fee to do so. Officials said they strive to steer interested film companies to facilities that are devoid of students so the regular educational activities are not interrupted.

Several school fields in the county have had recent turf improvements, but these two fields are not among those.
