Fayette County School Superintendent Jody Barrow reported to the Board of Education Monday that overall student enrollment for 2015-16 is holding steady at just over 20,000 students this year. He noted an increase in the percentage of elementary school students, particularly at Inman and Spring Hill. Enrollment decreased the most at Flat Rock Middle and Whitewater High. Barrow said 125 students are enrolled at the new Center of Innovation in the former Fayette Intermediate building, and 108 signed up for the culinary arts program at Sandy Creek High School.
