You may not often take a look at all your “likes” on Facebook, but The New York Times did.

The Times' data blog The Upshot reviewed active Facebook users in a given ZIP code and saw which of 50 TV shows had the most "likes."

Using heat maps to illustrate, the blog claims the analysis shows the much-talked-about cultural and racial divide present in America today.

It divvies up the country into cities, rural areas and what it calls The Black Belt — “a swath that extends from the Mississippi River along the Eastern Seaboard up to Washington, but also including city centers and other places with large nonwhite populations.”

The post also includes a search function at the bottom that shows which programs city's residents "like" and don't "like" as much as other cities. It also shows you which cities have the most similar and dissimilar tastes in shows according to "likes."
