Emory Healthcare has launched an external website to inform and educate health care organizations regarding Ebola prevention and patient care.
The Emory Healthcare Ebola Preparedness Protocols website serves as a reference resource for guidance on initial screening, confirmation of diagnosis, treatment, waste management, advanced supportive care, potential complications and discharge.
Registration is required for access to the website which can be found at www.emoryhealthcare.org/ebolaprep
In a message from the Emory Healthcare team including President & CEO John Fox the informational website was created to give American Healthcare a level of preparedness for Ebola and other types of communicable diseases.
The team notes that the information contained on the website is for general informational purposes only and to assist hospitals and health care providers in preparation for the care of patients diagnosed with the Ebola virus.
