Emory University will host a White House summit Friday on issues impacting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Discussion topics include the economy, housing, immigration and health care.

Cabinet Secretary Christopher Lu, who co-chairs the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, will deliver the keynote address.

Georgia's Asian American and Pacific Islander population increased by 82 percent over the past decade, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
