Following a 7-month long search, the Dunwoody City Council unanimously voted to select Eric Linton as the new city manager in December. The selection committee, which included the mayor, two council members and several other selected citizens, searched nationwide.

“Eric is a highly skilled public administrator and government services manager,” said Dunwoody Mayor Mike Davis. “We were particularly impressed with his veteran skills in planning, zoning and development, as well as his experience with comprehensive planning. He is the right leader for our team of employees and a tremendous asset to our city.” Linton grew up in the Dunwoody area, attending Chamblee High School, and received a master’s degree in planning, and bachelor’s degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
