The Duluth City Council recently voted to approve a request from Duluth Marketplace WREG, LLC to modify the master plan for Marketplace Village at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Main Street. The revisions will allow for an increase in residential age-restricted units from 128 to 180, remove the commercial outparcel and a 7,000 square foot building proposed along Main Street, and increase the size of the building proposed on the Peachtree Industrial Boulevard outparcel from 4,000 square feet to 8,500 square feet.

The Duluth Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions among which include spillover lighting and noise from the larger outparcel will not affect the single-family homes nearby.
