DeKalb County’s Chief Executive and a state Court Judge will host a session Wednesday designed to expose more high school girls to the criminal justice system.

Burrell Ellis and Stacey Hydrick will meet with the girls as part of National County Government Month, in a bid to raise awareness of local government.

The free event runs from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in Courtroom 2A of the DeKalb County Courthouse in downtown Decatur.
