Decatur’s tornado sirens will ring for one minute on Wednesday

If you hear a large sound toward the end of your work day, don’t be alarmed.

The city of Decatur will test its Tornado Outdoor Warning Siren System at 5 p.m. Wednesday, officials announced on its Facebook page.

The test should last one minute.

Should there be inclement weather, the test will be postponed to Thursday.
