Mountain Park taxpayers won't be receiving new property assessment notices or a new 45-day appeals deadline, according to Fulton Chief Appraiser Burt Manning. He said Friday that it turns out the tiny north Fulton city did receive municipal tax estimates, so it can come off the mailing list of nine other cities that didn't. It saves about 600 notice mailings.
The county is trying to correct erroneous and omitted information from its first mailing. Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Chattahoochee Hills and unincorporated south Fulton also will not receive new notices.

Marco Moses, 25, and Moerise Williams, 29, were found guilty Thursday of three counts of aggravated assault and weapons charges. On Sept. 26, 2007, the two mean approached a parked car in Mechanicsville and opened fire on three passengers, Fulton prosecutors said.
