Shadburn Ferry Investments, LLC is requesting a conditional use permit from Braselton to operate a concrete recycling facility on a portion of 7.33 acres owned by Braselton Township Development LLC.

According to the request by Shadburn Ferry Investments, the facility would eliminate concrete waste in landfills, protect the environment, and provide recycled material for development and construction. The proposed site is located on Highway 124 near Josh Pirkle Road with easy access to I-85.

The Braselton Planning Commission will evaluate the request at a public hearing at 7 p.m. April 22 and the Braselton Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing at 4 p.m. May 9 on the same issue. Both meetings will be held at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53.
