After hearing from three Cobb County School District bus drivers about inconsistent paychecks during a recent Cobb Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Chris Ragsdale spoke to their concerns.

Ragsdale acknowledged that he normally does not recognize or talk about any kind of public comments, “but all of these were employees.”

“I do commit to the bus drivers that we do greatly appreciate you as team members. We will look at this issue again. I’m not making any promises that we can do anything any different, but I commit to you and promise that we will look into this,” Ragsdale said.

“Hopefully, we can come up with something that’s a little bit better because we certainly understand the situation that has been brought before us,” he added.
