Smyrna police said Thursday a jewelry store near Cumberland Mall was robbed of about $600,000 in merchandise after closing earlier this week.
An employee at Exotic Diamonds on Cumberland Boulevard was held up at gunpoint around 8 p.m. Tuesday, police said. During the robbery, the employee was forced into the back of the store, but he was not injured.
