Four easements were approved Aug. 16 by the Cobb County Board of Education.

All at no cost to the Cobb County School District, they are for:

  • Cobb County Department of Transportation to install sidewalks along Nichols Road at Vaughan Elementary School.
  • Georgia Power to install a new power pole and transformer to route existing power lines to portable classrooms at Brown Elementary School.
  • Greystone Power to install a new power pole and transformer to route existing power lines to portable classrooms at Nickajack Middle School.
  • Georgia Power to install a new power pole and transformer to route existing power lines to portable classrooms at Griffin Middle School.
