The Cobb County Board of Commissioners agreed 5-0 Tuesday to pay $2,085,401 for the Circle 75 Parkway drainage improvements and culvert.

E-Z Bore Construction was the low bidder for the repair of the culvert crossing under Circle 75 Parkway at Poplar Creek due to the early stages of failure of three 96-inch-diameter corrugated metal pipes.

Also, the existing 18-inch corrugated metal storm sewer pipe will be replaced with an 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe.

Funding will come from the 2005 special purpose local option sales tax.
