A first draft of an updated five-year Airport Capital Improvement Program was reviewed on Aug. 5 by the Airport Strategic Planning Board, overseeing Cobb County International Airport - McCollum Field.

Airport Manager Karl Von Hagel said the ACIP is used by the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration to plan future grants, according to the draft minutes.

Updated annually, the ACIP is due to the state before Nov. 30.

Over the next two months, additional review of the plan will take place.

A final draft will be presented to the Airport Board at its Oct. 7 meeting for approval.
