Clayton County voters will decide Tuesday whether to extend a special one-cent sales tax for educational purposes. If extended, the e-SPLOST would bring in $280.25 million, which would be used for textbooks, mobile devices and construction. The five-year extension would start in January 2015. The current one - e-SPLOST IV - ends Dec. 2014. In addition to the countywide SPLOST vote, College Park, Lake City, Forest Park, Morrow, Jonesboro and Riverdale will hold municipal elections. Precincts are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
