Clayton County launched it’s Prism Compliance Management Software in late 2017. The software is a compliance tool used to manage and track subcontractor utilization on contracts.

The system will allow prime contractors in current contracts to report payments to subcontractors, replacing the paper reporting requirement. It will also allow subcontractors to verify and acknowledge payments received from the prime contractor. Vendors will also be able to search the database for subcontractors to satisfy project goal requirements.

County officials say they are confident that this program will increase the efficiency in contract compliance efforts as well as enable staff to manage a database of certified firms within the system.

From now on the requirement to submit reports directly via the Prism portal will be mandatory for all vendors under contract. Central Services Contract Compliance Division will provide ongoing vendor training.
