Roswell "Chicken Man" Andrew Wordes' continuing battle with the City of Roswell came to a head Wednesday afternoon.
A judge remanded him to jail until November for violating probation following his conviction last November of grading his property without permits and having too many vehicles on it. At a Wednesday afternoon hearing, Wordes told the judge he had met some of the conditions, which required him to perform some community service, but was unable to provide documentation. He also did not meet terms that required him to report to his probation officer between March an July. He said he had been ill.
Wordes was taken into custody directly after the hearing.
