Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services invites residents to “Stuff a Squad” with gifts to benefit residents of the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch near Waleska.

Goshen Valley is a home for boys in the foster system. People can drop off unwrapped gifts for boys ages 10 to 18 and monetary donations to help fill the interior of an ambulance (squad) from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Cherokee County Fire Training Center, 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, Holly Springs.

A gift is one's admission ticket to Fire & Emergency Services' second annual Stuff a Squad. The event will feature a hot chocolate bar, crafts, games, fire apparatus on display and a visit from Santa, according to a county announcement.

A personalized wish list has been made at Amazon by the 42 boys at the ranch. Go to www.goshenwishlist.org and select, "Christmas List for Goshen Valley Boys Ranch." Requested items include clothes, shoes, bicycles, video games, bats, balls, RC cars, electronics and art supplies.
